"I’ve checked out all the pubs in Baslow and the one that meets all our requirements for a post hash recovery is the Rutland Arms on the road towards Calver. I suggest parking there as it is free but NB that the run starts from the village centre where the ample parking is not free. The run will start at 7.45 from the village bogs so please try and be there. I will be running and so will round up any strays. Beware rutting stags."

The run will still start at the car park near Devonshire Arms on the main road but this is a pay park. The apres will be at the Rutland Arms on the way out towards Calver. NB this is free but if parking at Rutland Arms you will need to leg it round corner to start. Smittie

Due to anticipated heavy snowfall later, tonight's venue Castleton has been dropped in favour of the Rising Sun, Nether Green.
